Ashley Joseph

Ashley is a writer, director, actor and presenter. His writing credits include Series 2 & 3 of the award- winning BBC series JOJO AND GRAN GRAN, for which he has written 9 episodes and the very well received St Lucia 22’ special which won Best Pre-School Children's Programme at the RTS North West Awards. Ashley also voices the role of JARED in the series. He is returning to the next series of DOG SQUAD (Hello Halo/Cbeebies) having written for Series 1. He’s also writing for SILLY SUNDAYS (Cartoon Saloon/Cartoon Network/HBO Max). Theatre Writing credits include 5’s A CROWD at Hackney Empire, 13:60 at the Broadway Theatre and his promenade adaptation of Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice. Ashley recently was Co-Associate Director on GET UP STAND UP: THE BOB MARLEY MUSICAL and he also directed BLANK by Alice Birch as part of the National Theatre Connections programme. Ashley is a busy actor and presenter; he’s currently filming series 5 of JUSTIN’S HOUSE as new supporting character, Gary.
