Karen Bartlett is a writer and journalist based in London. She has written extensively for the Sunday Times, The Times, the Guardian and WIRED and presented and produced for BBC radio. Before becoming a journalist Karen’s background was in politics. She began her career in the UK and South Africa. After returning to London she worked for The Fabian Society before becoming Director of campaign group Charter88.​
 
She wrote the Sunday Times  bestseller After Auschwitz with Eva Schloss, and  an in-depth biography of Dusty Springfield (Robson Press, 2014).
