Robert J. Lloyd is a writer and secondary school teacher. He gained a First Class BA degree in Fine Art, and an MA in the History of Ideas, when he discovered Robert Hooke and his New Philosophical Club. He is married and has three splendid children, and lives in the Brecon Beacons. His first novel, The Bloodless Boy, was originally self-published in 2014, before being acquired and published by Melville House in 2021. The sequel, The Poison Machine, was published in 2022.
